Holmead Place, in Cathcart, was closed off this morning
A SOUTH Side street has been locked down after a man was found injured in the middle of a road.
Holmhead Place, in Cathcart, was closed off this morning by police following the discovery at around 8.45am.
The road is shut off between Newlands Road and the River Cart.
Emergency services remain on the scene and enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "Around 8:45am on Thursday, May 6, police received a report a man had been found injured in Holmhead Place, Cathcart.
"Emergency services are currently on the scene and enquiries are ongoing."
