TONIGHT sees the final Debate Night before the Holyrood election with representatives of the five main parties to discuss issues facing voters.

The BBC programme will see Kate Forbes of the SNP appear alongside Tory MSP Murdo Fraser, Labour's Sarah Boyack, LibDem MP Christine Jardine and Scottish Greens co-leader Lorna Slater.

It will be one of the last opportunities for voters to see what the parties stances are on a number of issues before a final leaders' debate on May 4, just two days before Scotland goes to the polls.

Forbes is the SNP's Finance Secretary and is likely to spar with Mid Scotland and Fife regional MSP Fraser, who speaks for the Scottish Tories on finance as well.

Jardine, the LibDem MP for Edinburgh West, speaks for her party on the Treasury.

Meanwhile, Boyack, MSP for the Lothian region, represents Labour as the party's environment, climate change and land reform spokesperson.

Given the Scottish Greens' radical proposals for land reform in Scotland - including introducing a right to buy for agricultural tenants and a "land value tax" - Slater and Boyack could be challenged on this and other issues relating to climate change.

The final Debate Night of this Holyrood election campaign will be broadcast from 10.30pm on BBC Scotland and BBC Radio Scotland.
