AN interesting event for Yes supporters will take place on Bank Holiday Monday when the National Yes Network (NYN) will hold a National Conversation on Scotland’s Place in the World.

It’s set for Monday, April 5, from 2:30pm to 4pm, with details available from national.yes.network@gmail.com.

NYN said: “The event is for NYN and our regional networks and local groups so we can ask our questions. Diaspora is an agreed project we’re working on so this Q&A has come off the back of that.”

With Stephen Gethins – who has just published a book, Nation To Nation – Roger Mullin and Michelle Thomson who have produced papers on the business diaspora.

Gethins is being particularly bust at this time as he also features in Yes Southside’s virtual event on Wednesday, April 14 from 7pm to 9pm. The event is described as “a discussion on Scotland’s foreign policy by professor of international relations and former MP, Stephen Gethins.”

Yes Southside said: “Based on his new book of the same name, we will hear from Stephen about Scotland’s place in the world today and what it means for future foreign policy.”

Meanwhile, on Tuesday, April 13, at 7.30pm Yes Linton is hosting a Zoom presentation by the head of Believe in Scotland, Gordon MacIntyre-Kemp.

Yes Linton said MacIntyre-Kemp will be happy to answer your questions on the positive case for independence and you are asked to register for the event at eventbrite.co.uk.
