IN a year of big anniversaries for both Festival and Society, the Edinburgh International Harp Festival 2021 will showcase the teaching and performing talents of a host of heavenly harpers and their fellow musicians.
This year marks the 40th anniversary of the festival as well as the 90th anniversary of the Clarsach Society.
Ticket holders worldwide will be able to enjoy an international array of world-class concerts, courses and workshops, all from the comfort of their own homes.
Concerts will feature sets filmed by artists “at home” from across the world, as well as on location in Edinburgh’s Greyfriars Kirk.
Courses will be conducted live on Zoom, with recorded workshops premiered at set times over the Festival. Most videos will be available for catch-up afterwards.
