AN online auction of Outlander scripts signed by the show's stars has raised nearly £50,000 for women's charities.

In total, the 15 lots put up for sale by actress Maria Doyle Kennedy raised £46,600 for Women's Aid Ireland and Scottish Women's Aid.

While most of the scripts sold for between £800 and £3000, Kennedy's copy of the script for Monsters And Heroes, episode nine of season five, sold for £19,600.

The second highest price was for script of The Ballad Of Roger Mac, the seventh episode in the fifth season, which sold for £8,600.
