TWO planes have collided at Aberdeen International Airport.

A former Flybe aircraft was being prepared for take-off when it came into contact with a parked Loganair Embraer regional jet.

The incident happened at around 6pm last night.

A spokesman for Aberdeen international Airport said: "There were no passengers on either aircraft.

"No-one was injured and the Air Accidents Investigation Branch is now carrying out an investigation."

Loganair has been contacted for comment.
