A TOTAL of 11,927 people have tested positive for coronavirus in Scotland, up from 11,654, the Scottish Government has said.

Another 44 people have died after testing positive, bringing the total death toll to 1559. 

The number of people currently in ICU has decreased since yesterday, and now stands at 108. 

The number of confirmed cases to date by health board is as follows:

  • Borders: 283
  • Dumfries and Galloway: 250
  • Fife: 768
  • Forth Valley: 757
  • Grampian: 889
  • Greater Glasgow and Clyde: 2939
  • Highland: 288
  • Lanarkshire: 1436
  • Lothian: 2065
  • Orkney: 7
  • Shetland: 54
  • Tayside: 1392
  • Eileanan Siar (Western Isles): 6
