JACKSON Carlaw has gone on a Twitter rant about the First Minister, saying she must give more detail on how Scotland will adapt post-lockdown.Â
In an article for the Scottish Express, the Scottish Tory leader called for "fine detail" about how society will adapt to a new normal.
We will seek more detail from Nicola Sturgeon on how we adapt to this “new normal”.

For example we need the security of thousands more daily tests across Scotland & with mobile testing in every region.

He added: "Last week, Nicola Sturgeon set out what she described as 'high-level' principles that will help guide the choices she makes. What she didn't do, however, was set out how she intended to do it ... This week we need the fine detail."
But one fine detail Carlaw failed to mention is that the UK Government has not given ANYÂ details on how the country will look after lockdown.Â
In contrast, the FM pledged she would be open and transparent with people when considering her government's next move.
A paper published by the Scottish Government sets out the possible next steps for dealing with Covid-19, including a pledge to ease strict stay-at-home measures.
It says businesses will have to adapt so that customers and staff are able to stay two metres away from one another, whilst classrooms may have to be redesigned with not all schoolchildren able to return to learning at the same time.
We'll wait and see if the UK Government publishes a similar report...
Why are you making commenting on The National only available to subscribers?
We know there are thousands of National readers who want to debate, argue and go back and forth in the comments section of our stories. We’ve got the most informed readers in Scotland, asking each other the big questions about the future of our country.
Unfortunately, though, these important debates are being spoiled by a vocal minority of trolls who aren’t really interested in the issues, try to derail the conversations, register under fake names, and post vile abuse.
So that’s why we’ve decided to make the ability to comment only available to our paying subscribers. That way, all the trolls who post abuse on our website will have to pay if they want to join the debate – and risk a permanent ban from the account that they subscribe with.
The conversation will go back to what it should be about – people who care passionately about the issues, but disagree constructively on what we should do about them. Let’s get that debate started!
