SOME Unionists are so convinced of Scotland’s inability to govern itself that they can’t bring themselves to agree with anything pro- independence politicians say.
But the Jouker must admit even we didn’t think they’d go this far.
In what is surely, in an exceptionally crowded field, the most ludicrous Unionists tweet ever posted, one man couldn’t even bring himself to agree with the First Minister when she told Scots not to drink bleach.
Nicola Sturgeon spoke out after Donald Trump suggested that disinfectant could help “clean” the body of someone with coronavirus.
The SNP leader said: “It is clearly not the case that ingesting disinfectant in any way shape or form is a good idea. It’s a very, very bad idea, and extremely dangerous.”

For most people, advising people not to poison themselves would be fairly non-controversial.
Evidently not in the eyes of David Nisbet, who tweeted: “The Scottish Nationalist Party do not speak for me and my family.”

Incredible.
As you can imagine, David’s comment piqued the interest of social media users.
Here are a few of the best replies…
So you think it's okay to ingest some bleach? Or you agree with the First Minister on this that it's actually a really stupid and dangerous thing to do?

Does that mean you think ingesting disinfectant is a good idea then? Genuine question.

Why are you making commenting on The National only available to subscribers?
We know there are thousands of National readers who want to debate, argue and go back and forth in the comments section of our stories. We’ve got the most informed readers in Scotland, asking each other the big questions about the future of our country.
Unfortunately, though, these important debates are being spoiled by a vocal minority of trolls who aren’t really interested in the issues, try to derail the conversations, register under fake names, and post vile abuse.
So that’s why we’ve decided to make the ability to comment only available to our paying subscribers. That way, all the trolls who post abuse on our website will have to pay if they want to join the debate – and risk a permanent ban from the account that they subscribe with.
The conversation will go back to what it should be about – people who care passionately about the issues, but disagree constructively on what we should do about them. Let’s get that debate started!
