Cooper famously claimed he 'played for the team he loved' as he became a hero to a generation of supporters at Ibrox.
His death at the age of just 39 rocked Scottish football and the winger is still fondly remembered by Clydebank and Motherwell as well as being revered at Rangers.

Dubbed 'The Moody Blue' because of his reluctance to speak to the Press, Cooper instead did his talking on the pitch as one of the most naturally-gifted players Scottish football has ever produced.
Cooper would also win 24 caps for his country and represented Scotland at the World Cup in Mexico.
