PAUL McCartney has donated a set of limited-edition prints of Linda McCartney photographs to Glasgow Museums.

Three of the 14 images by his late wife which are being handed over were taken in Scotland.

The collection includes portraits of famed musicians from her early career, as well as “intimate and humorous” McCartney family photographs.

They will be available to view on request at the Glasgow Museums Resource Centre.

The donation comes as a collection of her work curated by Paul and their children Mary and Stella is on show at Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum.

It is the first time the Linda McCartney Retrospective has been on show in the UK, running until January 2020.

McCartney became a professional photographer in the mid-1960s, marrying Paul in 1969.
