KIRSTIE Allsopp and Phil Spencer are in the Midlands as they search for family homes in the area. Kirstie is in Birmingham, seeking a family friendly suburb for Paul and Emma. Nearby in leafy Solihull, Phil’s searching with Dan and Kate. The couple moved from London 18 months ago to be closer to family. They have outgrown their rental and need a long-term home, but one specific street has become the key focus of their attention.

With no-one else to confide in, Roz decides to tell Scott about Wayne, who promises to retrieve the footage. Meanwhile, Lisa finds Joe in a local bar and watches as he drinks and flirts with the barmaid. When she awakes the next morning and realises he has not come home, she fears the worst. Who Do You Think You Are? (BBC1, 9pm)

IN the final episode of the series, former The Only Way is Essex star and presenter Mark Wright investigates his family history. First, he examines his father’s side of the family and uncovers surprising facts about his Sephardic Jewish ancestry and his relation to a master swordsman living in late 17th-century Andalucia. His journey then takes him to Spain, where he is astonished to find out how one of his relatives survived the terror of the Spanish Inquisition, and another was burned at the stake.

The Big Hospital Experiment (BBC2, 9pm)

IN a radical social experiment based on a scheme in Germany, 14 young volunteers between the ages of 18 and 24 spend four weeks delivering patient care on the NHS frontline at Royal Derby Hospital. This time, the young volunteers embark on their second week at Royal Derby Hospital, where some participants struggle to deal with the difficult realities of life and death.
