GREAT news for foodies with a taste for Italian - celebrity chef Gino D’Acampo has launched a new range of frozen food at Iceland, with some delicious items available from as little as £1.50.
Speaking about the new range, Gino said: "When I’m at home, you will often find me in the kitchen creating my favourite Italian dishes, many of which are featured in my cookbooks and television shows. My secret? I often freeze them, so my family can enjoy real Italian food whenever they want to. Buon Appetito!"
To recreate the magic of Gino’s home cooking, Iceland have teamed up with the popular This Morning chef to bring his special brand of authentic Italian cooking to everyone’s home. In the new range, you will find everything from real Neapolitan pizzas and flatbreads to classic Italian meals and desserts.
Every item was created by Gino himself, using authentic ingredients and recipes handed down to him by his beloved grandmother, Nonna Flora.
There are five different types of pizza to choose from, including prosciutto, margherita and a spicy one with a hot sausage topping. Each one weighs 413g and is recommended for two people to share.
The pasta selection features mouth-watering lasagne, meatballs and an Italian-style chicken dish with smoky pancetta and a white wine and tomato sauce, all costing £3.
The Gino selection will be a permanent fixture in Iceland with no end date presently planned.
The new range is available to buy now on the Iceland website here but you’ll need to spend at least £25, plus there will be an additional delivery charge of £2. Delivery is free for orders over £35.
Alternatively, you can visit your nearest Iceland branch to buy the range in store.

Why are you making commenting on The National only available to subscribers?
We know there are thousands of National readers who want to debate, argue and go back and forth in the comments section of our stories. We’ve got the most informed readers in Scotland, asking each other the big questions about the future of our country.
Unfortunately, though, these important debates are being spoiled by a vocal minority of trolls who aren’t really interested in the issues, try to derail the conversations, register under fake names, and post vile abuse.
So that’s why we’ve decided to make the ability to comment only available to our paying subscribers. That way, all the trolls who post abuse on our website will have to pay if they want to join the debate – and risk a permanent ban from the account that they subscribe with.
The conversation will go back to what it should be about – people who care passionately about the issues, but disagree constructively on what we should do about them. Let’s get that debate started!
Callum Baird, Editor of The National
