THE UK came dead last at this year's Eurovision Song Contest in Israel as Michael Rice failed to impress.
The British singer's Bigger Than Us received just 3 points from the public vote, and a total of 16 points altogether.
The Netherlands' Duncan Laurence took the top spot with his song Arcade, scoring 492 points after the public vote.
Laurence said: "Here's to dreaming big, this is to music first, always."
The last time The Netherlands won was 1975.
Italy finished second with 465 and Russia third with 369 points.
However, Iceland's act could face punishment after displaying Palestinian flags during the live broadcast.
While the final public vote was being announced, the band held up flags in support of the Palestinian people.
In a statement, the organisers said the "consequences of this action" will be discussed by the contest's executive board".
The Palestinian Campaign for the Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel (PACBI) has been vocal in opposing the Eurovision song contest taking place in Tel Aviv over the state's treatment of Palestinians.
They have accused Israel of trying to "artwash" discrimination, which it has compared to apartheid.
