LENNY Henry has no shortage of high-profile stars helping him with the latest extravaganza. Emma Willis, Paddy McGuinness, Alesha Dixon, Zoe Ball, Romesh Ranganathan and David Tennant will be fronting the biennial fundraiser in the hope that we dig deep for the Red Nose charity. As ever, that cash will make a huge difference to the lives of vulnerable people in the UK and abroad. Hugh Grant, Rowan Atkinson and many of the cast of Four Weddings and a Funeral reunite for One Red Nose Day and a Wedding. Richard Madden reprises his role as DS David Budd in a mini-episode of Bodyguard, Freddie Flintoff drives Robbie Savage round the bend at the Top Gear test track, and the cast of Only Fools and Horses: The Musical join in the fun.
Food Unwrapped: Chaos at the Checkout, C4, 8pm
ON average, more than 50,000 tonnes of food passes through British ports every single day from the EU, which has led to some fears about what will happen when we leave. Some people have definitely been taking the claims that Brexit could lead to food shortages seriously – there have even been reports of Britons stocking up on essentials, just in case. But should we all be worried, or are these fears wildly overblown? The Food Unwrapped team, including Kate Quilton, are finding out as they ask what will happen to the food on our shelves, in our fridge and ultimately on our plates.
Gardeners’ World, BBC2, 8.30pm
MONTY Don recommends varieties of seeds to sow now for months of summer colour and, with conifers enjoying a revival, also plants up a pot to give interest all year round. Adam Frost visits York Gate in Leeds, a place famed for the use and manipulation of plants to give structure to the garden, and feeling inspired shows how to replicate parts of its design for domestic gardens. Annual climbing plants are an easy and inexpensive way to fill gardens with colour, and the head gardener at Parham House in Sussex reveals which varieties have proved to be a success in his trial at the gardens there.
