Artists respond to the theme of global migration and the refugee crisis in the latest Travelling Gallery exhibition. Travelling Gallery’s Spring 2019 exhibition, Displaced, will explore how artists are responding to global migration and the refugee crisis now. With the ongoing international conflicts and the continued displacement of human beings, the exhibition is particularly relevant. The mobile gallery will be travelling to Drumbrae Library Hub in Edinburgh on Wednesday, 11am-5pm, free.

Sunday Roasting at The Drake. Gary Little, in my completely biased opinion, is the best male comedian in Glasgow, and is appearing at the Drake bar in Woodlands Road from 1pm-5pm. Ticket price of £40 includes a glass of fizz and Sunday roast and you will never laugh so much in your life. See venue for details or buy online at www.facebook.com/events/309561123237921

The Music of Harry Potter at the Royal Concert Hall on Saturday at 3PM and 7.30pm, tickets from £19. Over the course of eight blockbuster movies, four composing wizards put quill to parchment to create magical soundtracks to accompany the wondrous world of Potter. RSNO invite muggles, squibs and magic folk alike to join as Hollywood Conductor Richard Kaufman waves his wand to bring this magical music to life. From the iconic themes of The Philosopher’s Stone right through to the darker soundscapes of The Deathly Hallows, Scotland’s National Orchestra will have you spellbound.

Midge Ure will be at the Lemon Tree in Aberdeen tomorrow at 7.30pm, tickets £22. The former Ultravox frontman is playing his own material and lots of hits. Between songs he’ll do a Q&A. There’s certainly plenty to talk about in a career spanning 40 years, including classic single Vienna, Band Aid, and his orchestrated CD from 2017.

The launch of Rachel Plummer’s Wain takes place at the Scottish poetry Library on Friday at 6pm. This is a collection of LGBT-themed poetry for teens based on retellings of Scottish myths. The collection contains stories about kelpies, selkies and the Loch Ness Monster, alongside perhaps lesser-known mythical creatures such as wulvers, Ghillie Dhu and the Cat Sìth. Tickets available at the venue, free.

There will be a talk and discussion at the William Wallace Monument in Stirling about Robert the Bruce. How accurately did Hollywood portray the outlaw king? Thursday, at 6.30pm. £5 tickets available via Visit Scotland.
