1 Here are a few of my favourite things. Champagne, pink and pink Champagne… and this weekend the Moet Rose Truck rocks into town, stopping at the beautiful Corinthian Club today. What a perfect Sunday. Flowers, Champagne, spring has sprung and love is in the air. Fizztastic. Small samples will be available. Have a day out and enjoy being a Champagne socialist.

The incredible woman that is Rachel Suttle and all the team at Kained are doing something very special indeed this IWD2019 (International Women’s Day 2019 – men have their day every other day). A fizz and canape evening on Friday, being held in co-ordination and friendship with Glasgow Women’s Aid, will raise money to provide refugee packs for women and girls experiencing domestic abuse, How very typical of Kained to do something so fab and believe me, no-one can throw a party quite like Ms Suttle. Call 0141 222 2884 to book, £10 a ticket. Time to give back if you can.

Join the all-female panel including a polar historian, polar scientist and a local author for an evening celebrating women’s roles.
