5 One Love… next Saturday night should have every reggae lover heading to Paisley, where The Bungalow is hosting a night to celebrate Bob Marley on the day of his birth. Allen tells the whole unvarnished truth about his most recent adventure – a solo expedition to Papua New Guinea during which he filmed his visit to a community he had befriended 30 years earlier.
7 Back to Edinburgh, where the one and only designer Orla Kiely is at the Dovecot Studios for an exclusive preview of her much-anticipated exhibition, A Life In Pattern, before it opens to the general public. Inspired by the upbeat exuberance of the 1960s, a love of Irish and Scandinavian architecture and mid-century design, Kiely will share insight with guests into how she created one of the most popular brands of the 21st century.
