DONUT King will be opening its fifth UK store in Glasgow’s St Enoch’s Centre, as part of its

£40 million leisure and dining precinct redevelopment.

Established in 1981, Donut King now boasts more than 250 stores globally with the first UK location opened by master franchise partner, Jabbar Mumtaz in June 2019.

He said: “I couldn’t think of a better location to open our first Scottish store, than Glasgow’s St Enoch Centre. I hope Glaswegian’s enjoy our fresh hot cinnamon, glazed and novelty donuts, artistic Sundaes and delicious freak shakes, as much as our English customers do. Our Royal Bean coffee is a medium roasted blend and bequeaths caramel, chocolate and subtle fruit tones.”

Donut King will join Nando’s, Smashburger, COSMO and Vue Cinemas as confirmed redevelopment retailers. In addition to the offerings listed above, Donut King will also provide customers with a wide variety of hot and cold beverage options, soft serve cones and hot savoury items.

Graeme Jones, senior asset and development manager at Sovereign Centros, asset partner of St Enoch Centre, said: “We’re excited to have such an innovative and visually attractive international brand, like Donut King open as part of this redevelopment. The brand complements St Enoch’s existing and new outlets well and strengthens the centre’s food and beverage offering.”

The centre will open next summer.
