The National:

What caught the eye of our intrepid press today?

Starting with The Herald we have the latest on the rise of racism that the Brexit vote sparked.

The National:

The absolute state of the UK, honestly...

The Herald have also led with the news of former SNP MSP Mark McDonald being suspended from Holyrood following an investigation into sexual harrassment.

The i have led with the story, focussing on the fact that McDonald just won't resign.

The National:

Up next, we have the Daily Record.

First of all, the Record has a 2 for 1 deal going for a trip to Flamingo Land....which feels a little inappropriate since Flamingo Land are currently trying to build a theme park at Loch Lomond much to everyone's bemusment.

Would it be cool to have a Flamingo Land in Scotland? Definitely. But how about not on top of some of Scotland's most beautiful scenery.

The National:

Anyway, the lead story today is about a nurse who tried to expose the opiate scandal at one of Scotland's hospitals.

The Scotsman is running with news on Scotland's underspend.

The National:

Meanwhile, the Scottish Daily Mail is launching a campaign to expose how opaque the workings of our government have become.

The National:

And finally, our very own cover for The National. We've led with the story of someone who has lived in the UK for eight years, but now faces Home Office hell.

The National:

You can read all about it here.
