EVERYONE who knows anything about aliens know that if they are going to visit us earthlings, they will need to do so via a time travelling portal, an intergalactic fold in space that might enable advanced civilisations, which excludes us, to travel between different dimensions, galaxies and planets.
Now there’s the intriguing theory that a portal opened up over Midlothian – next door to West Lothian which is already well known as Scotland’s UFO “capital” –the other night.
A time lapse video taken on May 20 appears to show a bright hole in the sky, and the clip shows that the blue circular light has something fly by it, before the gap closes and completely disappears. Since the video was uploaded to Youtube, it has been shared on popular conspiracy channel secureteam10.
Tyler Glockner, who runs the Youtube page which first posted the video, said: “It truly does look like something outputting a lot of light.
“It is definitely not a spotlight on the ground. It appears to be shrinking and shrinking, until the sky completely swallows it up.”
The video was originally uploaded to Youtube channel MotherNature 444. The uploader claimed that the portal was visible in the skies until sunrise.
The argument over the Midlothian phenomenon has already started with theories ranging from a time travelling portal to merely one that allows long distance travel, a possibility that was conceded by no less a personage than Albert Einstein – and Donald Trump some time ago.
Commenter Brice Lindy said: “There is something strange going on that they are trying to hide. Ever notice how most days there are clouds covering the sunset? In the early afternoon, you can see the chemtrail planes at work, come time sunset, covered by clouds. They are hiding something up there and its serious business.”
That was countered by another commenter Earth2 who said: “As a drone pilot who shoots constantly in sunrise morning conditions, I can tell you that the “portal” is simply a parting of the thick clouds with light brimming underneath. It’s not to different from when you get a sun ray, only in these conditions the sun is low in the horizon. I’ve captured that many times in my drone videos.”
Commenter Scott Cramp, said that the light in the sky was actually from the moon hidden behind the clouds. Spoilsport.
The time travelling portal appeared in the Scottish sky just before former Scottish Labour leader Jim Murphy and his Labour Lord chum Alistair Darling joined the Scottish Conservative leader Ruth Davidson in London for a “Better Together” reprise in praise of the Union.
At least now we may have an indication as to where Murphy has been.
Why are you making commenting on The National only available to subscribers?
We know there are thousands of National readers who want to debate, argue and go back and forth in the comments section of our stories. We’ve got the most informed readers in Scotland, asking each other the big questions about the future of our country.
Unfortunately, though, these important debates are being spoiled by a vocal minority of trolls who aren’t really interested in the issues, try to derail the conversations, register under fake names, and post vile abuse.
So that’s why we’ve decided to make the ability to comment only available to our paying subscribers. That way, all the trolls who post abuse on our website will have to pay if they want to join the debate – and risk a permanent ban from the account that they subscribe with.
The conversation will go back to what it should be about – people who care passionately about the issues, but disagree constructively on what we should do about them. Let’s get that debate started!
Callum Baird, Editor of The National
