A SCOTTISH man who was accused of public indecency after touching another man's hip has had the charges against him dropped.

Jamie Harron, 27, faced three months in jail after accidentally touching a man on the hip in a bar in an effort to not spill his drink.

Harron, from Stirling, was arrested over the incident in July.

He was detained in Dubai but sources have now said the charges will be dropped.

Harron's passport has been given back to him and he is now free to leave the country.
